Default Sport Compact Car Magazine spins bearing on supercharged car

Did anyone notice this in the the july 06 issue? Page 154, "We've put on brakes and a supercharger and subsequently spun a bearing".

yea i just mentioned it in this thread

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...20615&start=75

PPL didnt think much of it I guess. Probably because they didnt mention how they blew the motor. I think its weird because I cant see ppl who test cars for a living, cars like 1000hp supras and evos and stuff like that, accidentally downshifting too high. Im with ppl like Stu Gotti who think there may be more to it than that, but only time will tell. Ill try to email SCC mag to ask why that happened.

well they do drive different cars all the time and when every car's shifter is different. You can't just say they should have mastered the tC shifter... I mean they have like 12+ project cars just for themselfs.

yea but theyre pros at what they do arent they? Even if they havent mastered the tC shifter its still a standard H. Plus they said the car had the TWM stage 2. I have the same shifter and I can tell you it makes tC shifting easier.

Id like to see what future plans they have. They seemed a little disappointed with the chargers performance but I guess they want to continue to work with it.

well they claimed 201 whp on a Dynojet which is good. They said that theyre getting a new short block and SC and will be adding more boost at that time.

I wanna see them go all out on that motor. Internals, head, and everything! Release the full potential of that charger!
