Default Is this a tC S/C Intake direct fit?

A guy at work said that he saw this intake on a tC with the s/c. Does anybody know if this is a direct fit for the s/c? .....if so ..... does anybody know this? From what I thought ...there were no intakes for the s/c out.

Possibly... but do you want to spend close to $500 on it? For a box and foam?

Don't you think that's a tad bit out of place?

im just suprised that nobody has talked about it. It all depends on how it performs. Yes it seems way over priced but I would figure someone would have it.

There are definitely a few people that have it.

I don't think the S/C was out at this point, but here's an early review from Taek:

If I was a supercharged show car, I would get that in a heartbeat.

have you even looked at a SC intake tube? it's a direct 180° bend down to the SC and I don't see how it could be a direct fit unless they sell the tube specifically for the SC with the box, which would go against how they show the stock tubing being used.

But it's just as easy to fab up some piping from those "make your own intake" sets, so if you really want it, go for it and bolt up some tubing.

Oh, and the SC intake is sufficient enough as it is, have you seen a flow chart? look towards that header and back if you want gains, and fab a heat shield for the shaft.

It should bolt right up, the supercharger intake box is in the same place as if it where stock.

it looks like if u have the tanabe strut tower bar like i do, u may have a problem using it with the arc box. when i had the mmw cold air box, i had to put a bunch of washers under the strut bar bolts, and also, couldn't get my redline hoodlift to work either. if anyone really needs an intake, the umnitza intake should work with the sc and without modification. there are pics of it somewhere on here.
