I think i blew my ballast because my light wont turn on. I took my light that worked and plugged it in and it didn’t work .... so im going to assume its the ballast. Anyway - I cant take the darn bad bulb out. I tried to put a screwdriver in there and take the 3 screws out but I couldn’t get leverage. Does anybody have any other ideas?
Also – are all the connectors for the HIDs the same size? Meaning – can I buy different ballasts and use the same bulbs? I have mccullough hids.

why don't you try twisting the bulb counter clockwise it should come right out.
And no not all HIDs are the same, you need to get McCulloch ballasts for the bulbs.

I'd check the harness first as well. If you can, run a jumper from + and - on the battery directly to the ballast and see if it comes on..

well I learned that it was the actual harness that was the problem. I fixed that but still can not get the darn bulb out. One day im going to have to take it out so I need to start thinking how. I turned pretty darn hard ... it didnt move. Since its the passenger side I have the windshield washer fluid thing in the way.

everything comes in the box. The kit is nice - i just dont know why its so darn hard to get out. I went outside at work to test the line so I unplugged the HID and tested it ... i had power .... I plugged it back in and turned on the lights ....it worked. Im glad I dont have to get any new parts but this darn light. ... there were no problems installing it though.
