Default Amp connection question

Hello,
I just got my amp in today and am going to be running off the stock hu at first. My question is; does the stock hu utilize a floating ground or common ground.

The floating ground hooks up just like a speaker would,
(R+/R-) ground not used (L+/L-)

The common ground hooks up by (positive to positive, both left and right) then the (negative wires and ground are connected together)

Thanks for any info

Very few HU's have common grand. You can usually find common ground on $50 CD players and $15 cassette players. No decent HU have common ground these days.
