I am getting my supercharger installed tomorrow and was wondering if anybody has any tips. Anything that should be done ...or checked ...or anything? I dunno but I figured someone somewhere might have something to comment on.

oh yea - the dealer is going to flash it. They have the tool.

 

Just go easy on it the first couple hundred miles. Then feel free to goose it

Also, check for any oil drops on your garage floor (or wherever you park) and also check for any oil leaks at the shaft. Otherwise, you should be good to go.

 

yea - that was the other thing - break-in .... so a few hundred miles. ...I figured I shouldnt beat on it as soon as I got it but its going to be real temping.

After you got back from the dealer and drove it home ..... what were your first thoughts?

 

I picked up the wife's ride right after install in Nov; in a snow storm. Couldn't really "enjoy" the investment for a couple weeks. But then....... finally.....

it was what i expected & hoped for, and we have been very pleased with it ever since...

 

Good to hear - how long did you give the breakin?

 

until the roads were dry...... which with the miles she drives each week, may have been 3-400 + miles before i really let her rip.... and like i said it's what i expected for performance. It pulls strong, almost too quick in the low first gear we have, and puts a smile on my face that's been gone for some time auto wise....
