I live in Cali and I was driving by all of the used car delarships and came across the TEIN xb. I was like WWWHHHHHAATTTT . I checked it out, they wanted 24,000 for it I was like cool. The salesman opened up the door to show me the inside and the doors dont work. because you can tap them and they should open up(shaved door handles) The salesman told me "the doors were not a problem they could fix them" I was like yeah right. I told him to pop the hood because I wanted to see the turbo. NO TURBO!!! I told him what happen to the turbo? and he said what turbo. to make a long story short
No turbo
No big brake upgrade
No cool sound system
The graphics look cheap
body kit looks good except it looks somebody is putting there foot on the side skirts(wide body kit)

Oh man that stinks, that was a pretty sweet xB. Didn't it have the heads up display on it or was that the other xB featured in SS.
On a side note that website shows a tC, but calls it a 300 gone vertical, LoL.

That xb sold on ebay and the buyer sold most of the parts off it on ebay or here. He had the hybrid suspension setup on here awhile back. I saw the bigbrake kit on ebay a few weeks ago.

 

seems like he sold all the expensive goodies and sold it to a dealership...he prolly made out $$$

 

that car is not worth 24000 its worth 18000. theres nothing special about it anymore, except the custom gauge cluster, sway dash, and that defi unit(i think thats what its called) Its pretty cool because your speed comes out on the lower left side of the window the rims too.

 

Say--thats right down the street from me. I remember when it was on Ebay and I do seem to remember someone selling the custom suspension. What ashame to part it out.........

 

I think the seats were the best part about the car.

 

eww i wouldn't want it now. All it is is just graphics and widebody and some rims. why did the guy sell it to them?

 

Actually, I spoke to the guy that bought it from Tein and he is also one of the owners of Auto Depot. He paid $25,000 for it. He told me that he was gonna start selling parts off of it to bring the price down. He said that if I wanted the box as it was (everthing in tact), to give him mine and 10 grand. He also stated that if I wanted, we could swap parts with some cash if I wanted anything off of it. I passed on the offer. It's a damn shame that he thinks someone is gonna give him $24,000 for it without some of the parts that made it worth it. I saw it with the turbo kit, big brakes, bride seats, sound system, hybrid suspension, and whatever else was missing.

 

kinda ___ to buy the box for 25k and then sell parts..whats the point of buying it in the first place???
