the diff between the two is that the S.Techs have a lower drop than the H.Techs. my friend told me that since the optimal drop on a tC is 1.5 inches, the S.Techs are mainly focused for show because of the lower drop, while the H.Techs are mainly focused for performance because it is closer to the 1.5inch optimal drop. i prefer the H-techs IMO. hope this helps.

heres the official tein website with specs from both the h-techs and s-techs.

^^ what he said. H-techs doesn't drop as much and more focused on ride quality than just looks.

well H-techs are considered "luxury" springs.. but S-techs are considered "sport" springs.

the s-techs though drop the car too much and will actually reduce the handling capabilties while the h-techs are still gonna slightly improve it.

also.. the s-techs are gonna ride harsher than the h-techs because they are sport springs.. and the spring rates are pretty stiff.. while on the h-techs they are pretty soft so you get a comfortable ride with a nice drop

i have the h-techs... and i love them

Thanks blackonblacktc! Your ride is hot! I think i'm going with H-techs...not so low and keeps the smooth ride. How is your ride blackonblacktc? pretty smooth, or do you feel every bump on the road?

thanks for the compliment...

and as far as the ride is concerned.. its great, i always have people in the car and it is never harsh, and even when i am on bumpy roads it is pretty smooth.. and i am on stock shocks, i want to upgrade to Koni shocks simply because i wanna keep the smooth ride.. ill be honest, this isnt a race car, just my lil cruiser..
