Default Does anyone know the truth??

I keep seeing posts that strongly suggest that the xA is short-lived..Can this be true?
I see nothing but praise for these cars so how can they be short-lived?

Short-lived cars usually have parts availability problems over the long haul.
I have a 2006 xA so I am concerned about this.

How about it experts - what does the future hold for the Scion?

all the models are short life spans only 4 yrs each, they planned it that way. 2007 will be the last year for the current xA and xB models with whole new ones replacing them.

Does that mean that there will still be Scions, but they will look different.....Or will that be the end of the Scion altogether.

All Scions will have a 3 year run, then be replaced with a new model. Whether that new model will still have the same name or even fill the same roll as the old model is anyone's guess.

Scion's whole philosophy is to keep things new and fresh.

Not sure how this will impact future parts availability.

It's no different than Toyota coming out with a new generation and new platform for a replacement car. There will be a steady supply of xA, xB and tC parts. Don't worry.
