I'm not really familiar about amp and eq hookups so here are my questions. Can you hook up a 2 channel amp to door speakers, and how does a eq hook up? See, they're not hard ones. Thanks.
I'm currently running a clarion head, rockford coaxles, rockford p2 sub and a 2 channel amp on the sub. I'm wanting to switch the amp I have now to the doors, get another 2 channel for the doors and a mono for the sub.

to answer your ? about your amp to door speakers... yes u can..
if eq is refering to an equalizer.... i've never actually hooked up a standalone one so cant help ya there.. i've just used the built in eq of the head unit.
as for how your wires would run... it would go h/u>amp>door(s) one channel would go to left one to right doors

You only need one amp up front unless you are bi-amping or have multiple sets of speakers.
The EQ would be wired between the HU and the amps. The RCAs from the HU would feed into the EQ and then another set(s) from the EQ to the amps. Before you add an EQ check your HU to see if you has enough control to meet your needs. My Pioneer has a 7 band built in and it's good enough for my needs. One major problem with most separate EQs is they normally have only one input and many have only one output. You will lose all the fader control from the HU and possibly sub control if you run it off the EQ also.

The clarion radio that I have only has treble and bass controls. Other than that you have to put it on one of there settings like jazz, rock, you get the picture. The back of the radio has like 4 sets of RCA jacks comming out the back so I guess that's what you were talking about?
As for the amps, I was refering to putting one amp on the front doors and one amp on the back hatch speakers.

These are the RCA hookups on the back of my radio.
Front L/R
Rear L/R
Sub L/R
Aux Input L/R
2-Zone Output L/R
So I would go from those to the eq then from the eq to the amps then to the speakers/subs?

J/K, unless you really want too.
