Default got my Scanguage II and installed audio system

Just received my ScanGuageII and it is great. i was contemplating installing a water temp gauge but this think is so simple. Just plug into your OBDII port and it gives you water temp., voltage, fuel use, air intake temp. The only thing that it does not give is MAP.
I am still deciding where to mount it. THinking about cutting a hole right next to my gauge but ugh...a HOLE in my new xB.
I also finished my kicks from scratch. will post pics.

yep no oil pressure. After a day with it...I find that the people who designed the exterior of the ScanGuage need to to talk to someone at Apple or something as it feels a bit cheesy. Functionality is good though. Perhaps a jog wheel?

I know you've got an xB, but this mounting might work for you, if the location works for you. I like it there because it's readable, and the buttons are accessible without taking my eyes off the road. Fortunately, the SG v.2 is smaller and has modular cables. Here's my SG v.1 that I custom painted and rebezeled to better match my xA's interior:

I have a small aluminum plate underneath that I cut and fit as a 3/8" raised platform to keep things neat and stable.

That looks good. I wondered how someone would deal w/the original design, it was fugly. I got SG v.2 yesterday and it's way smaller, fits in the cubby under the mirror controls. I'm thinking about mounting it on the head liner by the a-pillar and windshield.

I just put in my ScanguageII today. I put it under the dash so it would be out of the sun most of the time and if I take it out, the hole I cut for the wire will not be seen.

Nice.

Speaking of oil pressure, does anybody make a gauge that reads off the oil pressure sensor that is already in the xB?
