should take about 2 minutes to take off. there are two torx screws around the back of the steering wheel (not necessarily on the back, but on the sides in the back). loosen those up and htat will allow the airbag/horn assembly to fall forward. IIRC the main nut that holds the wheel onto the hub is now accessable.

I highly reccomend disconnecting the battery for about 30 minutes before hand and even pulling the connector for the airbag harness loose to be good and safe about the airbag system. If they followed the standards I believe the connector will be yellow. Granted, it should not go off.. but it has happened before.

^^ I havent heard of it on a tC, but I have heard of it happening on other cars with airbags.. The funny ones are thieves that were stealing peoples airbags and selling them.. those things cost some bucks.. some of them, however, were seriously injured because they took litlle care with them and they went off :D

It's not that easy.... LoL

Yeah, the torx bits are there, but there is a whole cable assembly that has to pop off, plus the shaft bolt as well... it'll take more than 3 minutes... it's pretty straightforward, but you will lose your horn, turn signal cancel, cruise control, and air bag... it's all in a ribbon cable that you have to disconnect.

I have one...

You need a hub adaptor and quick release setup...

you just connect the hub adaptor and then connect the quick release setup to the adaptor and you're good to go...

The hub adaptor just bolts on with the stock nut and then the quick release attaches to that and then your wheel...

That's a thread of my quest to find the right parts...

it's nice, but losing some of the features is a bit of a bummer...
