injen intake filter..
has any of you guys replaced the filter to any of your CAI's yet?
i've had my injen CAI on for about 10,000+ miles now.. and i'm thinking about replacing it's filter. i also read up the cleaning DIY for the filter.. i might do that.
but the real question is, when would be a good time to clean up the filter? k&n says it wouldn't need any service for up to 100,000 miles but i wanna check up with you guys first.
thanks in advance.

i never changed or cleaned mine for like 25k, then i took it off, since i got another tc. i have yet to put it on again but.. you dont really NEED to change it. its more of something you do to feel better about it.
just clean it when it gets dirty. you can't really set a mileage on it because it might be dirter where you live and cleaner somewhere else. just see if its dirty and clean it, its very easy.
How difficult is it to clean a TC Injen CAI? Is there a place I can go to see a step-by-step or manual? I wanna know exactly what I have to deal with if I choose to install a cai. My bad if there is already a topic on this already. Thanks in advance.
i 'think' that the injen uses the K&N filter (somebody pls correct me if wrong) - so this how to would work.
i just ordered this kit from summit racing and will be doing mine this weekend.
hope it helps!

of you can just remove the bumper... i just took off the front bumper... i think it's easier to take off the bumper. and you have a better view and easier access to that whole spot.
