What color should I paint my brake calipers?

 

I saw a SW with black calipers the other day and it looked hawt! Red is nice too. Are you going to get new rims soon? That would factor in as to which color I would paint them. If you're going to leave them stock for a while, I would go black.

 

 

they will stay stock until next year, unfortanly

 

i'd suggest leave them be until u get new rims...because what might look good on stock might not look good with the color/shade of rim u will get later on

 

Im either going with some gold or black rims when I do get some

 

then i guess the safest one - no clashing of colors - would be black

 

I painted mine red and it seems like every other day someone says something about how cool it is to see the red calipers behind the wheels. I just love the way it looks with the rest of the car, but then again I have a CSM so its a little different. If your getting black rims go red.

I would just leave them alone till you get new rims personally. But if your just itching to paint something with the stocks you could really do any color since you have no theme going yet. Then just re-do them when you add the new rims.

 

thats what I was thinkin......I might even do a coat color for all of my trim peices; calipers, engine cover, etc....

 

I also have SW and wanna do mine black. Where's the best place to get the black paint? At autoparts stores I have seen kits for Red, blue and yellow. NO black tho

Here's my take on my stock painted Calipers. It like it and that's all that matters.

 

BTW i think Red, Black or Gold will work with your car. It all depends on the look your going for. I'm going Fint Mica, with White and Red. If you go with black rims go Gold if you go with Gold rims go Black.
