I just finished clearing my turn signals in my headlight using the "beat the crap out of it with a hammer and screwdriver" method. I came out really nice. Now I just need to get me some chrome turn signal bulbs.

Looking good. I was really scared at first but I said "what the hell" and did it anyway. It's very easy and I'm glad I did it now!

That what I was thinking also. I was going to do it the other day when I was doing my intake, but I had to finish up to go somewhere. This morning I said that I'd do it and I did. I wanted to see if I could take out the headlight without taking off the entire bumper and you can. If you take off your grill, undo the two screws under the grill and the push pin in the middle and the two screws by the tires, you can pull the bumper enough to get to the screws for the lights. That's what I did.

Looks good - I think the headlights look so much better cleared out.
Hit me up if you need some chrome 1157s, I have them in amber or superwhite.

I just cleared my corners tonight. Taking off the bumper was the easy part, but for me, shattering the reflector was the hard part. I must not have been hitting them in the right place. So, I gave up on that and baked the lights in the oven to loosen the glue. I pryed the lenses open and took out the reflectors that way... re-heated them and stuck the lenses back on... hopefully I won't have leakage later, but everything looks OK. Gonna get bulbs tomorrow, assuming there's a parts store open.

lol, leakage? what's gonna leak? the light? hehe..j/k. I'd put a few applications of silicone so you don't get moisture...

I did the hammer method as well. Worked nicely. One thing I did was to cut up a few shop towels and stuff them in the hole first. This way when I shattered the orange plastic it didn't risk scratching the inside of the light.
