PLX makes some of the best stuff out there. It's just not all that eye appealing.

Well take the fabric off the pillar before you drill a hole. Set fabric aside for when you sell the car. Re-apply fabric when you remove the pillar, to sell car... That way all the holes ar coverd up.

Get the PLX-500. Same size as Apexi SAFC. Its a wideband,EGT, and it reads knock. I had one in my car. It made it extremly easy when I got dyno'd because he had evrything he needed to tune it already in the car. And it lights up blue and looks sick. Worth $500 http://www.importparts.com/shop/prod...oducts_id=5964

sold my car. had a single din head unit with it mounted underneath. had to do a little bit of fabrication but it looks sick. And your asking if you need that. If you have a booted vehicle I would say you need an egt gauge as much as you need a wideband why not 2 birds with one stone. And the price is cheaper for 500 then the 2 gauges seperate. This leaves space on your pillar for your other gauges.

didnt know it even had one. i only used it for tuning on a real dyno and wideband and egt as well. i would imagine not too accurate though. i would not buy it for the dyno function.

IMO, I would go with the plx m300 with the plain lcd display. Yes it's not as fancy as the other models, but the display is large and clear. I'd also prefer to mount it on the steering column with double sided tape. This way it's always in clear view which is very important when you are boosted. Also, you can reference your afr's vs. rpm since it'll be close to the tach.
