I was wondering if any of you guys have TSW wheels or have any good or bad info about them. I found a set that I like but I'd like to hear any comments you guys might have on the quality of their wheels and what not.

I liked the pattern ever since I first saw them. Little heavy at 22lbs with tire - I think they are about 5lbs heavier than the steelies were with stock tires. I would recommend a larger rim size. I wanted some sidewall, but the 17's seem too small. I'd also go for a 25mm rear offset in back (I got 40mm all around) to push the rears flusher to the fender opening, though you'd probably stilll need another 10mm to make up the full 1" difference between the front and back track. No complaints about quality - can't remember if they were made in Taiwan or China... same diff I guess. LuxNova 07-06-2004, 03:46 PM They're good until you hit a pothole-then you're screwed. TSWs are notoriously soft. A friend of mine had a set of 18" Xenons (Zenons? forgot their spelling. The angular mesh ones) on his '01 GTI. Hit a pothole, bought a new wheel. regular87 07-06-2004, 11:10 PM I have 17" Kyalami's on my xB. I liked the pattern ever since I first saw them.
