Default Looking for SE Mass grease monkeys to help me with my tC.

Hey guys and gals,

I started to do some work on my tC this evening, but I forced myself to stop. Using a wheelchair, it was tough reaching over into the engine compartment. I was hoping to get the CAI installed. I came really close to scratching the paint with my chair, so I decided the best thing to do was hold off, cause I'd be hating myself if I ruin anymore paint with my chair.

So, I'm wondering if there are ppl from Boston area south who would be willing to get together and give me a hand on my list of upcoming projects. They include:

CIA
Strut bar
Exhaust (Yes Carlos, it's sold)
I'm also looking at upgrading the stock speakers and augmenting the pioneer under trunk sub. So if anyone can offer some guidence on that, let me know. I was looking at the Infinity component speakers as a possibility.

And the big project I am watching, but need to research it more first, is deadening. Someone posted that step by step strip dpwn and install on this site. Is it worth it going through that much work? And if so, anyone done it or feels like they know what they are doing?

I'm looking for friends/new friends to help out, I can help with making it worth your time, but I can't do garage labor rates (beer, BBQ, a few bucks, you know the drill)

And I'm sure lots of other projects are in the works after these.

Ok, check it out.......
I'd love to help ya out, but I live in Dudley(not near the cape AT ALL) Maybe we can work something out. I LOVE working on cars!!! Espically tC's!
Don't do the sound deadening. The tC has more sounddampening material in it then any other Toyota built. There really isn't a need for more unless your going to put a HUGE system in it. It's super easy to do, but yeah........you do need to conform to the shape of your car. I'd be great if we could be jello for the day. (That's how I cracked my plexiglass sheet. I wasn't jello)

Jello for a day? I thought jello comes after the job is done, with a round of shots

hey man, if you can swing by early Sat morning, and you bring a decent jack, I can put it on for you no problem. its only two 14mm bolts, very simple, as long the bolts arent rusty. if they are, then some "rust eater" would help out alot.

It is only available on the RS2, it is a Pioneer, 35 watt, 6.5" sub mounted underneath the trunk board, next to the spare tire. I believe it was custom made by pioneer just for the RS2, but I don't have a confirmation on it.

I was a lil sceptical at first, 35 watts, 6". I'm impressed, I have to say
