Default So, you want to know how to align your tC?

Seriously....

My bro works at Hunter Engineering (biggest mfr of alignment systems). Anytime there is a new or redesigned car, they get one to take pics and measurements of it to include in alignment machine software. Over the weekend, we popped the wheels off my tC for this purpose.

Anybody care what it looks like behind those rubber bands that Scion calls tires? If so, I'll post the pics. If not, I won't waste my time.....

Absolutely. I'd love to see how adjustable it is.

camber and toe are adjustable, no caster. We recorded the specs, but I didn't keep a copy of those.... Rear camber looks like it would be a real pain in the ___. It was hard to get a pic of it, let alone get a wrench up in there.

These have been prepped for putting in to their systems, so they're marked up a bit. I included the Japanese versions as a bonus.

Enjoy! (too lazy to build a link page)

Cool, thanks. Interesting that the rear has a built-in adjuster for camber but there seems to be no adjustment at the front.

He had a name for that style of adjustment (don't remember what it's called). You would just remove those two strut mounting bolts, adjust as necessary, and if the change was drastic enough that they wouldn't go back in, just replace them with smaller bolts. It seemed like kind of a hack to me, but apparently it's a fairly common method.

You can get smaller or eccentric cam bolts to replace the strut mountiung bolts at the bottom, but it would be easier if they had slotted holes at the top so the top of the strut could be moved (but I don't think Toyota likes to do that.)
