Default I picked up my new Tc yesterday!

I picked up my brand new manual, black pearl Scion Tc yesterday and I thought I would just share the happy news with you guys! :D

I love it. I love it. I love it. I drove it around for about an hour to get the feel for the maual as I've never had my own car be a manual.

DEFINITELY got a lot of looks though...but that may have been from my crappy way of shifting gears!

I'll post some pictures later tonight...once it stops raining here in beautiful Michigan!

Hey congrats...what dealer did you go through? I'm still waiting on mine, hopefully soon, but they said the end of the month.

Also, what insurance company have you settled on? I'm stil comparing prices.

Congrats, enjoy....maybe I'll see your Scion riding around town.

I got mine through Suburban Scion in Troy.

I still went through Citizens, as they offered me the best rate out of everyone. $925/6 months. It's not HORRIBLE, but it's not great either. I can always still look and just switch if need be.

Hopefully you'll get yours soon too! :D

D'OH! I taught a friend of mine how to drive manual a few months ago before he got his new Mazda3. He does great now, so just take your time and you'll get the hang of it.

Congrats and I look forward to seeing the pics!

Well, congrats on your car again.....

I think State Farm gave me the best rate thus far on insurance, but I was going to try Citizens also.

Did Surburban get a lot of tC's in, or where they all spoken for already? I'm getting mine from teh Mt. Clemens dealer....since it's a LOT closer to my house and he treated me well thus far.

I hope I do too! I did really well considering I've only driven other friends cars. Since it's mine...I'm a bit more cautious! Thanks for the confidence booster...I will get it someday, damnit! HAHA!

Yes. They got A LOT. Apparently because they sell so many, they got a shipment in that is more than most dealerships got. When I was talking to him yesterday, he said the orders for this month (July's inventory) were filled. So if you ordered today, it would be in their dealership in a month. They treated me really well too. I would stick with the dealership closer to you if you think it will be in, in less than a month.

Yeah, I just drove by the Toyota dealership in Centerline and they had a Flint Mica AUTO...what I ordered. I didn't go in to ask if it was sold or not, since I was on my lunch.

I wonder if my dealership would do a dealer trade on it. I know my dealer had a Flint Manual....I would've bought that one, but I guess I want an auto, so I and my fiance can drive it.

That is funny. I bought a Flint Mica Manual so that my fiance couldn't drive it.
