Default Autometer Air/Fuel gauge wiring?

Has anyone hooked this up and have a picture of which wire I tap into for the signal?

Thanks for the help

Well I tried this as well and if you want the gauge functional then dont bother. You will have to hook it up to the second sensor and it will only give you a lean reading or a rich reading. Nothing in between.

The autometer afr gauge, is a narrow band gauge. The tC uses a wide band afr gauge. It will let you konw if your RICH or LEAN but wont give you exact reading. A Wideband gauge is alot better look into the AEM UEGO is a real good choice.

Is there any way of getting a wideband with the oem manifold (without gutting the cat) I want to get a wideband also but I dont want to get a header (my car sounds perfect right now) ?

You can put a wideband bung on the S-Pipe after the cat in the header, I run that now and read 14.7 at idle... everything matches up for me.

I have mine on the spipe right before the second o2 sensor and I have not cats and I read 14.7 at idle. So Cats or no cats youll get a correct reading. I wouldnt mount it past the spipe though. you wanna stay within 36 inches of the exhaust outlets on the motor.

Default widebands

I have the Haltech setup, from www.speedmachineperformance.com

www.performancetrends.com also makes a nice wideband gauge.

just like everyone else stated, just get a wide band. 1st reason the sensor is after a cat and that will throw the reading off. 2nd you cannot get a accurate tune with a narrow band sensor. 3rd wide band is perfect for tuning.
