Default I/H/E Combo for 07 TC

Hey guys....

New to the Scion world...so new that we dont even have our car yet...
Im originally a Honda Guy...i built myself a 83mm GSR Block with a GT35R on it....

now done with Background a lil more of my question

Im looking for a good Intake, Header, and Exhaust Combo for my Wife's new 07 TC..
im thinking along the line of the Injen Intake, and the Skunk2 Exhaust

she likes the Drift style exhaust on that car...something about seeing the Can hanging down...we where going to get the TRD with the car...but i couldnt bring myself to buy a 525 dollar Axle back when i can get a FULL catback for 400 bucks....

what Kinda of Header do you guys recommend? also is there any other Drift style exhaust like the SKunk 2??? I personally have an Apexi N1 on my Civic....

thanx in advance guys....

Doug

The other drift style exhausts I know of are the HKS Hipower and the Megan Drift-Spec.

Currently, no intakes fit the '07 without modification.

I know that the header was redesigned, but I do not know if any aftermarket header will fit your wife's '07. You may want to look into that before spending the money.

Exhaust has not changed at all. Setups for the '05 and '06 model years will work. As mentioned, Megan and HKS both make driftstyle exhaust. However, if you don't want the can hanging out the back, Draxas, Magnaflow and Megan make catback exhausts.

HKS Hi-Power exhaust is the same with a better sound and it's only 360. No headers or intakes are available yet for the 07

yeah, headers fit..make a little rasp, but all in the name of performance

I personally enjoy the megan drift-spec...like its sound, looks are ok...i have a slightly older version i believe, b/c fit was so-so, nothing a little jerry riggin couldn't fix...

as for intake, someone has done it with the injen, but its not the most reliable one, as the Maf is clamped into the pipe

headers and exhaust are it for now...intake should be around in a few months or so, but the headers and exhaust can yield pretty good power level increases

good luck, and hope you enjoy the car as much as i have mine
