Default Will dealers put xB 15" alloys on a new xA?

Bought a new Scion xA 2 days ago. Did the alloy 15" 10 spoke wheels. Last night I noticed the 15" xB alloy 7 spoke wheels and took a liking to them. Same MSRP, etc., but the dealer is trying to tell me that I can't order that set for an xA. Can that be right?

Or is he just being lazy since we already have the order in place?

Thanks

Oh... also, the 15" xA 10 spoke alloys aren't on the vehicle. The dealer had to order them. I'm just trying to sub the xB 15" instead.

Am I correct in my assumption that they're the same size on both models?

Unless they've changed something, they should be interchangable. Lemme ask you this....how much are the wheels costing you? Because you could probably take the same money (or less) and go to an aftermarket wheel shop for dozens of choices.

Well, dealer just called back and said the EM-7 wheels for the xB would work fine and that he'll go ahead and place the order.

Matt_a. I know... aftermarket would be cheaper... but I think we'll be happy with the xB 15" alloys.

The advantage is that the cost (we paid under MSRP) is rolled up into the loan.

Yeah, I understand that part. If you don't have the extra cash up front, it's easier to finance it with the car. Just thought I'd mention it because, like I said, it would be cheaper and give you many more choices.

You gotta remember also how much extra those wheels will end up costing you after paying interest on them. You'd be much better off rolling on the steelies till you can find a set of used ones on here for less than half the price of new. It's only money and interst...

I threw the EP-10 factory wheels onto my car when I first got it... how could I ever roll on dubcaps?

But a little over a month later, I had sold them and bought a different set of wheels for alot less money. I'd suggest taking them off the list and looking around for something else you like, because the factory wheels are way overpriced.
