Default Is there a gas pedal add-on?

I don't have cruise on my xA and after about an hour, my foot and shin get sore from running the gas pedal.
It's not at a comfortable angle or position. I wonder if there might be an add-on so that the foot could be a little more parallel to the floor for comfort.

Rostra cruise control unit is your best option. It's a good unit with relatively simple install. Alternatively, you could try some different shoes. I know it seems simple and strange, but it makes a big difference!

I had cruise control in my xA since Day Three. In other cars without it, on long drives I prefer to remove my shoes and/or socks. I would often drive with just my big toe holding the accel down.

It is possible to bend your linkage to better fit your needs. Just angle it up or down. It's quit easy to bend. Just make sure that when you are done that you still have full throttle action.

I find driving in flip flops or sandals very uncomfortable, I usually slip at least the right foot off before driving. Tennis shoes are fine, but I would like a cruise control as well... is it a self install? Difficult?
