Got the Exel V8s from Wheelmax 640 shipped to my doorstep. Look cool, now I just need to lower it..... I want spys, but I don't want to lose my extended warranty either....... so I might be forced into getting TRDs..... AHHH decisions decisions.http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid89/pd86bdf5178e08a65731d9587ecee3e3b/fa7ae67b.jpg
**UPDATE**
Okay this is my car AFTER new goldline springs. I LOVE THE RIDE, but my mud guards scrape over speedbumps sometimes, so I gotta go REAL slow.
Okay got new pics (lower quality but I used a camcorder instead this time).

what size are those wheels and tires? what do you think of the difference in ride quality? I'm looking at getting 16"s with mine, but I'm already dropped on Eibachs and worry that a low profile tire might compromise the ride quality a bit much

What do you guys think I should do about the spring situation? I have the extended warranty, so I don't want to lose that for using aftermarket springs. I know I could get TRDs but I don't think the drop is low enough (plus the ride is bouncier). Whats an xA driver to do? That wheel well gap is starting to annoy me!

I really don't think aftermarket spring will void your warranty...
All you have to do is find a mod friendly dealer to work on your car
I used to have eibach on my benzo and due to my rally driving skill... I messed up all my suspension system... dealer replaced all bushing and control arm without charging me a dime :D
Samething to my WRX, I bring it to a dealer who also sell Tein springs, and since I have Tein on my car they still put it under warranty if anything wrong with my suspension
Worst come to worst, if you felt something wrong on your suspension, just put the stock one back and have them work on the car
My experience is that dealers are pretty much mod friendly now days. They sell performance parts themself so most of them don't care what you ahve on your car. However, if something wrong with the car and they are not good enough to find the problem, then they will blame it on your aftermarket part.
My bro's car shift weird one time, so we bring it to a nearest dealer for service... and guess what they said the problem is... his MOMO shift knob????????
What the hell... His car is those gated automatic!
Thanks to Verone (When he used to work at Longo Lexus) and those good tech at Longo Lexus, they found out the problem with his tranny ECU and fix the problem
Nice looking ride, get it lowered ASAP!
No need to worry about warranty :D

The Toyota dealerships here in Canada sell Eibach springs, AEM CAIs, and Borla exhausts. Plus, with the Magnusson-Moss Act you guys have down there, if the part is sound and installed by a professional, I can't see you having any warranty problems.

They are 17's with 205/40/17 tires..... the ride really wasn't much different after i got them over the stock ride.... maybe a tad bumpier. After I lowered them with some goldlines though the ride is actually better than it originally was with stock wheels and springs.
PICTURES SOON TO COME!

Go ahead and get the Spy's, just keep your stock ones. If anything happens to your xA, just put the stock ones back on and voila.

We just put 18's and 2" spy springs on an xa and it is terrific. The ride quality did'nt really suffer and the look, and drive is much improved. Spy springs have a lifetime warranty, not 3yrs-36k miles like the factory ones. Given Scion's involvement with the after market I believe they are going to be pretty fair about Mods. SLAM THAT THING!

Nice looking wheels, personally I would not lower it more.
On the warranty issue, I talked to my local service dept. manager. Basicaly he said if the problem is caused by the modification the warranty will not cover it. I run Eibachs on 2 other cars and have never had a problem so I don't anticapate any with my Xa.
