Default Squeaking Brakes??

I Dont really know where this goes, but for a few days now every time im stopping i am hearing a squeaking. like a high pitch tone... what can it be? the car is doing less than 6000 miles and is stock. i dont know but it is really annoying becasue it sounds like an old car when im stopping.

rust on the rotors from a rainstorm, maybe?

With 6000 miles, it may be a couple of other things. Air getting behind the pads can create a squeak (that's why that blue tube of "goo" is included with new pads) or it could be that you are a safe attentive driver. If you drive appropriately and stop like you should...you can create a scenario where the pads will "squeak"....it's called "buffing" the pads

Stop hard every once in a while...see if that helps
