Brakes
First off for a front brake job at the dealership is 160 expensive, or the "going rate". Also is it normal for one side, like the passenger side brakes, to wear significantly quicker than the driver side? Please help/advise.
I'm gonna need more info. Pictures of the old brakes side by side would be very helpful also.
But it depends on what the dealer is doing to your brakes. If it's just replacing the pads and nothing else. Then yes your getting ripped off.

Gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that you can do this

A heck of a lot cheaper and even if you buy two jack stands (which I certainly recommend), you will save about a hundred bucks.
good luck.

uneven wear isnt good. if you're changing rotors, might as well change brake fluid and those dreaded rubber lines. get some stainless lines for front and rear, clutch hose if you have a manual. then get some Motul 600 brake fluid, and axxis deluxe brake pads. with all that said, there's money worth spent.
don't have pictures yet, but what usually causes uneven wear. I looked at the pads and could tell just by eye that one side(passenger) side was worn down significantly than the other side(driver). Most of the time I drive, I am alone.
