Ok, I crunched the numbers, read the fitment posts, and made some assumptions.
I want a set of Panther chrome 17" Flood wheels with 215/40/17 rubber at stock height. These have a 45mm offset, so according to what I am reading i will either need some one ton garage spacers in the rear, or grind the sub-frame, or find new wheels that fit without mods needed. Am I correct or will these bolt up fine since I am staying at stock height? Thanks for any insight.

They will rub and thats a bad thing. Contact Van and get the spacer shims, I have them and i love em.

ok i might be missing it, but hwat offset do we need to not rub at all or grind or wahtever....so htat we wont need spacers.

Ted is correct. Gotta go lower than a +40 offset. It's not the fenders that hit, the higher offsets will rub on the rear suspension on the inside, so heigth isn't really an issue rather the depth Get the spacers from onetongarage.com or find a lower offset...

Having to use spacers is just a way of telling you to get the "right" size rims in the first place. I'm sure folks will say there's no harm in using spacers, but IMHO, if you need them, you've got the wrong rims...

how wide are your rims?

7.5" or higher you will need a spacer with +45
