Default 3rd times a charm.....

Man it has been hell getting coilovers for my tc. First I ordered tanabe sustec pro oc's. Well a few days after order I get a call that they are backordered for 1-2 more months at least. Well crap. Gotta have them before that so next!

I order in a set of D2's which were kind of a last resort. I like the d2's color and spring rates better than the k-sport so... Long story short I ordered them almost 1 1/2 weeks ago. Today I find out D2 is dropping the ball on allot of people and they still had not even shipped! I was hosed. dropped that order.

Took a long look around the market and it looked like my only choice was teins. But the problem is I HATE the freakin green. Then just for giggles I wondered if HKS had come out with there RS setup for the tc yet, I heard it was in the works. Guess what! They have it in stock! Woohoo! I love HKS product.

So in short this is my 3rd paid try to get coilovers. I was given an arrival date of Thursday for a set of HKS RS Dampers for my tc I am soooo happy!

Yo guys, The HKS RS dampers are pricey. Retail at $1850 but price will depend on how good your dealer is. I bought mine from Intensepower.com Ask for Darren or Han. They will hook you up. I cannot and will not tell the price I paid as I am more friends with them, but tell them Jeremy with the tc sent ya and they should have the best price around. Will definitly toss pics all over when they arrive.

I can tell ya they are purple, black, silver and sexy!

They were recently released.. I think I may be one of the first to purchase a set....

Here is a link to them.....

http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=1991

"The all-new Hipermax Racing Sport (RS) coilover suspension kits are the first Hipermax line to be engineered as a truly global suspension system. HKS suspension engineers’ spent over a year developing the Hipermax RS, testing on various race tracks throughout the world, auto cross events and street testing in both Japan and the United States.

The result of all this testing and development is a coilover suspension system that has been precisely valved to dramatically improve handling at a competitive track level, yet still be comfortable even on the harsh road conditions in the United States. HKS was able to achieve this versatility by using an F1 inspired single tube structure coupled with an oversized piston and dual oil and gas chambers. A shortened cylinder body allows suspension travel to be maintained when the car is lowered. The Hipermax RS also features HKS’ trademark 30-way dampening and rebound adjustability that is adjusted simultaneously for easy tuning. The included anodized aluminum upper pillowball mounts improve steering response, traction and offer a more direct feel to the driving surface. On certain applications camber can be adjusted on the upper pillowball mounts. All HKS Hipermax RS coilover suspension kits are built in-house at HKS Headquarters in Japan."
