Default Sorry guys, I had to!!!

After around of month of waiting for my Scion xA, the dealer finally told me it was coming in. I already had some money down on it and everything. So when I went to go pick it up, turns out the sold it to someone else... Didnt feel that at all! They tried to make up all kinds of excuses and tried to put me in other Scions that I didnt want

The very same day, I went down the rode to look for another car. I went to a Honda dealership, and they had a Fit there. I test drove it, and fell in love.

Here's some pics:

I know it will be sacriligous to say this here, but I like the looks of the Fit better than the xA. That sucks the dealer yanked you around like that, but at least you still wound up in a cool looking car.

Oh, believe me...we were plenty mad, and they knew it. They tried to apologize and gave us two gift cards that tallied up to a grand total of 20 bucks!...that wasnt even enough for our time!

That's a wack azz dealership to pull a stunt like that.

You ended up getting a better car anyway.

We are writing to the local papers too, to let everyone know how bad this dealer was. Our town isn't huge or anything...so I hope it hurts them in the end.

^^^ hmm sounds like you may get your goal accomplished. Big town, few dealers I assume?
Good choice though, so no need to apologise! Did you get manual or auto?

I test drove a Fit yesterday and I told my sister "in order for me to get swayed away from the xA to the fit is a REALLY REALLY good test drive". I said that because the Fit's looks in my opinion arent as sporty as the xAs and just overall the the look of the Fit really didnt appeal to me much. Anyways, the test drive was pretty awesome. I felt super comfortable in it and the power it had was nice. I also love how it feels more like a car opposed to the xA's seating position where I feel way too high and out of touch with the car. Plus, the interior was sooo nice. Something the xA lacks. Anyways, congrats on the Fit, I bet you're enjoying that sucker.

Nice car KLoLo, I've never see the Fit in black. Any chance you could post up some interior shots?

Anyways, I had the opposite experience you had: a dealership (not Scion, I mean, I didn't even know what a Scion was yet) tried to pull a fast one on me, but luckily I didn't end up doing any business with them. Someone helped me find a tC, which is even better than the car I was looking at, and I also learned stick on it, which was something I never would've done, but because the only tC available was stick, I ended up getting it. Guess we both got what we didn't even know we wanted...

Ya, I'll try to get some pics next time I remember.

I was washing it this weekend, and the rear was sitting in the sun as I was drying her off. Then I finally realized why the call it a pearl. Its a blue pearl. My dad was the only one that could see it at first...he was like, "I see some blue," I was like, "Nah...its black." But once I got it in that sun, thing was almost totally blue...I was like, "Whoa."

I'm in a car club, and go to a lot of shows, and someone who won Best Pearl at one of the biggest shows in houston here didnt even have a pearl that nice, and his was white...

I think the Fit is a great car. I've always been a fan of Honda, Toyota and Nissan.

Congrats on the Fit! Very nice car and you lucked out big in actually getting one w/o a long wait, or even waiting at all. Others aren't so lucky. Definitely come over to FitFreak.net to see what you can do to it.
