You should've done what this guy did

Anyways, the fit is pretty cool. Looks a bit smaller than the xA tho.

On thing that I find funny are the paddle shifters. Paddle shifter on a 105hp car that gets 0-60 in like 11 seconds?

The Fit already has more aftermarket support than the xA, so you made a good choice in that regard, but it would take a lot to get me away from my egg.

Its actually a bit bigger than the xA, and the seats fold better. I noticed in the xA they dont really go all the way down (at least on the one I looked at), they just kinda...lean forward I guess? On the Fit you can fold them forward, or you can lift up the seat so you can put stuff on the floorboard in front of the rear seats. The passenger and driver seats also lean all the way back flush with the rear seats to make to lil beds for "Refresh" mode.

What I like about the fit is that you can "fit" a mountain bike between the front seats and the back seats (front wheel removed).

I probably would've greatly considered the fit if it had Honda's 2.4L engine and a better looking front end. The front reminds me of a frog.

clearly a biased opinion because an xA doesn't have the tC 2.4L motor and the froggie front end crosses brand appeal ;)

is it just me ?
i find this car ridiculously hideous i mean its really ugly
I know its just my opinion but to me it looks like a scaled down version of a minivan with a beak shaped front end.

i mean i know some poeple think the xb is ugly but at least you cant say its conservatively styled. i know theres alot of mods and body kits for the fit but it still looks like something grandma would drive around.

Wow, I came to the other car forum to ask a question about paint and this thread triggered horrific flashbacks from I95 the other day. I saw a Fit get utterly destroyed when a small truck, either a GMC or Chevy S-10 hit it. Traffic was stopped, and you could tell the S-10 guy was standing on the brakes, cause his front end was almost scraping the road. I'd say he hit that Fit at maybe 25 mph (maybe more). Luckily no one was in the back seat, cause there was no back seat after the impact. The Fit then hit the Benz in front and the front end made out alot better than the rear end.

Good news? The Fit's driver and her dog walked out of the car, so I'm rather impressed with how they are built. I have an xB, but have always liked and wanted an xA. Despite that, for safety if nothing else, I think you got a great little car.

Working on it boss! lol, I'll probably be able to swing one by Feburary. I'm hoping they still have a 5spd. I already have rims sitting here for it, and it doesn't matter what color it is, cause it will be painted black.

i think the fit is a cool little car, im with you on that they look way better in person. i almost didnt recognize it when i saw it on the street. i also like the fact that someone has already swapped an rsx motor into one. shows good potential.

I think you bought the Fit I was about to buy! I had to wait for about a week and once I got there, it was gone. I looked at the Fit and the Versa, and once I couldn't test drive either one, I told myself it was time for Scion. I sat in the Fit and I felt too tall in it. I had like 3 inches above my head, which freaked me out. I drove to a Scion dealer and went ahead and bought it. The Fit just didn't feel right, but I agree the interior is nice.

Maybe this'll tempt some to come over to the Dark Side, just debuted at the SEMA show -- Fit Sport Extreme concept. They put this out, and I'm gonna be spending a lot of time and money at the Honda parts counter.

The fit is a nice car. Black looks good, though it is a pain to keep clean. So what are you going to do to it first?
