You can try looking at the "suspension and handling " section. They got some good info to answer your question.

Is there any products out there to help with driving on the freeway in snow, ice, and rain? I live in Park City Utah and the snow is horrible in the winter. I have totalled a vehicle in the winter once and just don't want to do it again cuz I love my XB!!

I am a cautious driver also... I just want the best handling for my XB!!

Your xB is already an ideal snow/ice/rain vehicle. It looks low in stock trim, but tha's an illusion. My xB is the BEST winter driver I've ever owned, and that's saying a lot from here in Minnesota!

Yea... Like the winters are horrible here and the snowplows hardly ever get out from what it has seemed like!! I am just terrified of the snow on freeways ever since I totalled my truck in the snow on the freeway!!

It will do fantastic in the winter weather. For springs and wheel ideas check in at those sections like previously stated. Regarding 18 inch wheels... They look great but are hard to live with day to day real world. Stick with 17" or smaller. The ride will be greatly improved over 18" set-up.
