i was wondering if by any chance any of you with the injen CAIhave the rubber protector that they supply with the kit that goes on the inner driv. side firewall ...it wraps around the metal hole were your CAI goes into the lower part of the fender. and if by any chance if you have it or saved it and arent using it. i need that for something im working on in my trunk and i used the last bit i had.

please let me know if any of you have it i need it asap.

 

dont they sell those at discount/advanced/pepboys as an individual piece? i think i remember when will was custom fabing his own intake thats where he got the rubber connections if thats what i am understanding from your post...if not I do have my old AEM CAI somewhere...

 

no its not the cuplings.. it looks like door trimming that you would put on the edge of the door to protect it from hitting someone elses door.. they do sell it at pepboys but its no to flexable from what i looked for last night. the one that came on the injen was perfect. nice soft rubber.

its like this but in black.. and very thin... not as fat as below.. but you can get the idea.
