Default engine hissing?

my engine is ridiculously "hissy"....what do you guys think it is? i opened up the hood with the engine on and pulled on the throttle body thinking that i may just have a leak inbetween intake and throttle body...but not...it came from the intake manifold...what?

does it kinda sound like a turbo charging up and then blowing? cause I have full exhaust and stock intake and mine does it occasionally specially at higher altitude

yea these engines run so quiet, the the intake air hiss is very apparent. that's just the intake air getting squeezed past the closed throttle plate. also, the belts contribute to some of that noise.

It's the design of the TB. It's designed to give it that hissing sound. False spooling sound, but yes, with an intake it exentuates the sound at around 1/2 throttle.

Might have a leak near the TB. Check your connections and make sure the rubber connectors are securly on the pipes before tightening them again.
