DONATIONS NO LONGER NEEDED!
Thanks to those who helped after I get some more scarfs and socks I will have about about 25 bags to give out which is better than 0. Ill do this again next year and hopefully get more put together.
Well I think its great that we help the needy kids with toys and hotwheels, But I just happen to be driving around looking for stuff for the toy drives When I drove by a needy adult on the corner of a street, so I past him few bucks. I noticed when I did how cold he was and its not even that cold yet. So I think we should help the needy adults as well. I went down to fred myers and the goodwill a bought a bunch of beanies/knit hats and gloves, Im going to put together little stay warm kits for the homeless I see while drive around. I figured on puttind 1hat 1scarf 1pair of gloves 1pair of socks and a few bucks in a sack and hand them out to people that need them. So heres where I need some help. Im gonna need some donations and help since im not rich I cant afford to go by thw worlds supply of warm clothes or I will be on the street looking for some free stuff.
So any that can donate or wants to buy gloves, beanies, knit hats, scarfs, warm socks or even warm coats, I want them. Ill even take giftcards to places that have coffee like burger king sharis target etc. No more than 5 bucks though, that will get them a warm drink and a snack. Ive also emptied my paypal account so if you want to donate a few dollars in there for me to go pick the stuff up you can. Ill pick donations up at the next few meet and greets in the pdx area any others please pm me for arrangements. Im going to collect stuff until the 5th of Nov. Paypal donations can be sent to chasejohnson8@yahoo.com Maybe someone can get Scion to donate some scion clothes, what better way to advertise than on every street corner. Please help if you can, cuase one day you might be on a street corner. Thanks in advance.

Please be cautious when giving charity directly to the homeless. I worked as a security patrol officer in downtown Seattle during Winter 05-06 and I can tell you a decent portion of them will spend any money given to them on drugs or alcohol. I've also known several of those "highway exit bums" are already pulling in a nice income from their day job or are doing the same just some panhandling. My mother observed one in Issaquah driving home in his brand new shiny Mercedes after working the off-ramp there for several hours.
If you're donating, please only do so to the food banks and charities.
