Default 2005 multi-forum hotwheels/matchbox drive

ITS BACK!!! the multi-forum hotwheels/matchbox toy drive for 2005 check the contest section for more info... or
https://www.scionlife.com/xmas/
for the rules...

"4. The contest begins on Monday, November 28th, 2005 and ends on Friday, December 16th, 2005. The last tally by 11:59PM PST is your FINAL score.
5. A photo of all toys contributed at the contribution facility or loaded to be delivered needs to be emailed to admin@scionlife.com by each website by Monday, December 19th! If a photo is not sent in by that time the website is disqualified from the contest. (You can't wait to donate until the evening of the 24th or the kids won't get their gifts!)"

I propose that at any and all M&G between those dates that all PNW members designate a person or 2 to collect those items and will work together to get them to Scionlife Admin in time to be counted....
they do take paypal donations and multi-packs are worth 1/2 the total # of cars in the pack... hotwheels and matchbox brand ONLY are counted for this contest I believe last year we had over 9 thousand cars donated between all forums...

Lets make sure Scion Life is At the Top of the donation list!!!!

Also being that the SCAAs are before the deadline and a lot local members are attending.. it seems reasonable to collect toys there as well... so if you dont make one of the regional M&Gs but are attending the SCAA's... I'll set up a box to drop the cars off in..

Lets go and see if we can top last years SL count of 1733 toys (2nd place)

oh this is crap, I bet the PNW region alone can beat 1733.

So here is my challenge to the PNW. I will personally throw a kegger for anyone who donated hotwheels IF the pacific northwest region can beat last years total for the entire board. I dont care how we get them (though setting up donation stations at dealerships would be a good start) but if we get 1734, I wil host a hotwheels keg blowout bash out of my own pocket for the region!!

SO BOOYA! GET TO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are you going to know how many just the NW has donated? Especially if people are donating via paypal.

Just wondering...cause if you have a way of figuring it out, then I"ll make sure to follow that procedure. Cause I like beer. And BBQ

Havent gotten official "yeah that works" or whatever from admin yet... but i proposed the idea of those who paypal donations in... to put something in the comment feild like " from/for the PNW region count"... or somthing similar.. ...
so if you paypall your donations... add that.. and drop a note in this thread.. and we'll keep our own tally here just incase

Oh, well then in that case I just donated $2000. Bring on the BBQ! hahaha.

I think that will work. It should be too hard to keep a running tally of what was donated from up here.

Does this mean I have to bring them all down to Darren after the SCAA dinner? or is he going to be there?

Default We should donate every Scion matchbox car

Since we're a Scion site and we're having a toy drive. Maybe we should all donate Scion matchbox and remote control cars. This way we can really make a mark on the contest.

On a side note, I've seen the XB toys. Does anyone know if they sell TC or XA toy models or remote control cars? I'd like to get a TC one.

ok.. now from peruzing the list of donees... heres what i see from the PNW area.... kinda sketchy if we count Darren(scionlife) as part of our crew or not... but if its from his pocket and not the paypal donors.. then heres what i see

Darren Seeman (scionlife) $100
Dustin & Gabrielle Wilson (ohcanada_00) $35 PayPal
Mike Davis @ Scion NW Region $350

puts the PNW at
485 so far.. counting Darren/scionlife
385 w/o Darren/scionlife
