Default Car audio help! (camry/tC)

I have replaced my stock stereo with alpine speakers and a pioneer deck, but I still have the stock speakers and stock deck laying around. My ladyfriend's 97 camry has a jacked stereo and I was curious if any of you guys knew if the tC speakers or stereo deck would fit in the camry? (the camry stereo does appear to be double din)

I'm pretty sure that the Toyota radio harness hasn't changed in years. Your best bet would be to jump on google and compare the radio pinout to the tc's...

Worse case scenario.........
You'll have to get a harness that connects an aftermarket stereo wiring to stock Camry harness. You'll be able to pick one up at almost any radioshack, tweeter, circuit city, whatever.......
You'll also have to get a less popular, and significantly harder to find harness wich will connect to your stock tc radio. Then just wire the two harnesses together, and that's it!

Stock tC Headunit -----tc wiring harness------camry wiring harness-----camry wiring

Go to www.crutchfield.com and enter your vehicle info and there you go.

It should work. Worth a shot at the very least. Buy the wire kit and harness from a local store so you can return if it doesn't work out

It's plug and play, the 16pin double harness is exactly the same and the deck will bolt right in ... HOWEVER, the face is slightly wider than the camry's double din opening by about half an inch. I put a Scion iPod HU in my friends gen3 Camry (92-96) and we just made a little trim piece for the bottom and sides eliminating the 12v cig lighter. You on the other hand might have to trim some plastic from the stock piece because the HU sits in the middle of a vital panel.

As far as the speakers go I believe they are 6" in the doors and I know they're 6x9" in the rear deck.
