BKCXb 10-21-2006, 08:52 PM Just take out your ABS sensors one at a time and wipe them with a rag. It happened to me after I painted my calipers. The brake cleaner washed small metal shavings down to the wheel speed sensors. Since the tip of it is magnatized they stuck and stayed there. I would start by checking the front, they are easyest to get to. Just one 10mm bolt on your spindle between the strut and the steering arm. You don't even need to take the wheel off. just might have to jack the front alittle if your lowered. Turn all the way one way and reach behind your wheel on the backside. Some wheels like mine you can do it from the front. After cleaning the front reset the ECU and take it for a ride, mine never showed back up after doing this. firesquare 10-24-2006, 03:55 AM Just take out your ABS sensors one at a time and wipe them with a rag. There are LOTs of reasons those lights go on. It could be your gas cap, your alternator, your oxygen sensor--in other words---lots of reasons. If you have not installed a intake or some other mod--take it in and let Toyota take a look........... |
