Default Question about cold engine light..

My xb always has the blue cold engine light thing on for the first few minutes. Even when not cold out side. Does this happen to anyone else? Let me know why thanks

that is just an indicater showing that the motor is warming up. Newer cars take a little longer. Or are they on all the time?

I was trippin on that when I first got my car too. It'd be cool if the dealers pointed that out because it was a couple of days till I got to the manual.

Speaking of reading the manual, I just FINALLY figured out that thing with the radio where it has 2 different settings (xa or xb.) Mine was set to xa but I like the sound of the xb setting better.

hey highend

did you also find the controls for the SSP? you push that button and get either

Hear, Feel or Neutral for selections......

oh ya, i figured out those normal ssp settings pretty quick, but i was browsing thru old forum posts and found that one where u hold down the ssp button and select an xa or xb setting just the other day. i dunno why theres a difference in sound - arent the layouts on the inside pretty similar?

If you hold that little SSP button in for a few seconds, it beeps and then you get to pick whether or not you want the xA or the xB settings. I listen to my radio on xA, even though I drive a B because it just sounds better.
