ive heard mixed reviews about putting 225's on the stock rim, i just recieved my tires they are 225/45/ZR17 and will be going on the stock rims, just curious if anyone has a handy pic since i have to wait a few days to get them on.

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's 225/45/17s on stock rims. What kind of pics do you need? What kind of mixed reviews have you heard? I'm running TEIN S-Techs and at 45mph or higher, if i hit a decent sized hole in the road (notorious southern california roads), I've heard the tire slightly rub. The few times it's happened doesn't affect my decision because these tires rule. I feel a lot more confident making turns a little quicker than I should be or just rounding corners.
Whatever pics you need though, let me know and I'll go out and shoot.

Naked eye isnt really going to be able to tell THAT much difference between the two in pictures, unless you have a 215 w/ wheel and a 225 w/ wheel next to each other.
If you want to see 225s on a 17x7 wheel, click the link for my old car in my sig, thats 225s on a 17x7 wheel

some have said it looks bad cause the tire comes out further than the rim, but looking at beas' grand-am they look good so im not too worried anymore

(beas tc oupe = beastcoupe ;) ) they look better IMO with the tire further out, but refer to the other thread in this forumabout the pros and cons of the size difference ... unfortunetly you have already ordered your tires, atleast beware of the differences between the two
