Hi guys...
What do you think my quick & short shifter..
This is TRD quick shifter with nismo ****.
I just cut off the rod a little and made it shorter. Looks nice, isn't it? ^^

TRD not a true short shifter? I have no idea what that means and I don't remeber any threads hinting as such..

And nismo on a toyota? Is it powered by v tak?

Not short as in the height of teh shifter, but short in the travel between gears.

He's being stupid. He thinks that you're a ricer or something because you put a Nismo part on a Toyota, though I don't see any Nismo badges on it so it's not a big deal. "V Tak" is just a stupid spelling of v-tech, the Honda engine technology.

Well as I understand it, the point of a short shifter is to reduce throws. The reduction in height is just another factor some people prefer.

If it reduces throw distance, then that would probably shorten the shifts, a.k.a a short shifter

Actually, Vtech is the telephone maker. VTEC is the proper term.
TRD has to be a true short shifter! It reduces throws without reducing height! From the pics on the shirt shifter thread, it looks like there are 2 ways to have a short shifter.... 1 is to kind of 'cut' the top shaft, the other is to lengthen the 'lower' shaft.
