I would like to buy an xB, but the other half is good at hitting curbs and would like a shorter front spoiler lip.
Is there any other option - shorter front spoiler or smaller bumper , since curbs are high, streets with rain gutters at the intersections, so they dip down as you cross them, etc would wreck havoc with the low clearance in the front.
Any suggestions? :?:

The car is so short that you dont have to pull all the way into a spot, either.

Agreed. You dont have to worry about scaping unless you are on some major pot holed filled streets with 2 foot high speed bumps. My DSM was so low you couldnt fit your fit underneath the front, but I managed. Either way it's not as bad as it seems.

I'm with you! I'd like a shorter skirt all the way around!
You probably won't have a problem in normal driving, as the lip is 6 inches off the ground, but if you're used to using your tire as a feeler when parking you will crunch things. Unfortunately, my daily driver is a VW bus that has more ground clearance than a Jeep, so driving the xB has been a major adjustment for me.
I considered simply removing the lower skirt, but it ties into the inner fenders, so if you pulled off the skirt it would look odd.
I'm waiting to find an xB at the wrecker so i can pull the parts and make myself some "miniskirts".
