Japan-partner.com is a good place. They also get some Skyline GTR's from time to time which is nice to dream about

yea that a great site...if anyone is ever on the nissan forums, northwestnissans or freshalloy thats been there for years. if you really look hard u'll find its totally legit to bring in a 96-98 r33 skyline BUT it must be converted to OBD-II and its a b!tch.

if anyone needs non cars imported i am very good friends with a few importers.

also if anyone wants a skyline i know a few friends who are selling theirs.

the r32 was 25k last time i talked to him
r33 with 600+ whp and many meg features is 80ish k

there are a few others that are in the states ill have to do some more looking, if your truely serious freshalloy.com there are a TON of skyline ppl on there, more of them hardcore motorex skyline fans cuz they are in cali but there are a few wash oregon ppl that have skylines other ways.

s15 silvia the only street legal one in the northwest is white and the guy wants 35k for it. there is a silver one but it is NOT street legal they have just been driving it around with no registration.

there is also a r34 for sale at park place ltd for 80k to 120k, BUT its not carb so it will be hard to sell. and thats why it sits. also there is a auto r33 on ebay with no registration. they are around more and more everyday, but my issue is 25k for a 15+ year old car vs 16k ish for a tc or an xb that i think is more fun!

i know it sucks...i know a few ppl that are working on getting skylines "legalized" in the us and if that works they will start to come down in price. best bet for a decent fast car is a 240 with a sr20 swap.

My brother does a rural mail route, he tried to get a right hand steer subaru to replace the one he wrecked...said that the gov. added so many hoops that it wasn't worth it.

u basically hit it right on. the bs they've added sucks. becoming an RI is the real issue right now. importing cars for "race" or "show" is easy but to drive thats a different story!
