Default Tire Light w/ drop?

So i lowered the car on some Htechs about 2 weeks ago. And ever since then my tirepressure light would turn on periodically. Id reset it. and in about 4 hours it always turns back on. I know its not tirepressure. checked all and registered all at 45psi.

Any ideas why this light keeps turning on?

45 PSI!? It should be around 32 PSI front and 28 PSI in the rear.

well my tire said max of 51psi. and since i cant find out what the PSI is that will make the light turn on i just made sure it would be high enough that i know it wasnt the tire psi making that light turn on.

any ideas what it could be?

it's your tire pressure being insanely high...

the specs are located right where the door jam is and it's also in the manual....

and i just told you... 32/29..... front/rear...
deflate to correct numbers... and then reset the light again.

i was @ 33/30 and the light came on also. SO i set the PSI to a higher level. And its still comming on. I didnt want to post and have about 30 comments about my psi being too low. ive since then come back to a psi setting of 32/29 as stated by u guys...
read in another thread about having the car in acc mode and not started and to push the button let it clear. push the button again for like 3 second till it blinks and i should be ok. will try it out 2morrow.

yeah.. make sure and hold the button in... don't just press it and let go.

the tires should be even up front.. and even in the back..

i had a deal where the two tires up front were 32&32.. but my rears were 31&29.... deflected the 31 down to 29... reset... light didn't come back on afterwards..

how that 2 psi made a difference? blah.. how that happened? dunno..

the tire pressure warning light isn't a "Low tire pressure warning light"

it's a "one or more of your tire's is different than the rest and you should figure out why" light

also, it's a "Wait a minute, WTF, these things were at like 28PSI before, and now they're all at 45PSI, get off your butt and figure out why" light

Set the fronts at 32-34, rears at 28-30, turn the key to the "on" position without starting the car, hold the button for TEN+ SECONDS (says so in the manual) and the light will turn off.

The sensors use the ABS system to calculate the deceleration rate of each wheel in comparison to eachother to determine if something is drastically different.

yea!! nice..

and just the fyi for people..

the '07's and above don't use the abs type system but actual wireless pressure sensors that sends feedback to the ecu... they will be need to be transferred to new rims if you get them.

blah blah... blah...
