GoW is fuggin' awesome. I play more multiplayer than single...

i havent played another shooter since halo 2 came out.

How is this compared to it. I still don't think i'll buy a 360, but just wondering if you folks are liking the multiplayer action?

No offense to veterans, but I brought it into the office last friday (Veterans Day is a floating holiday for us). I'm the only one who had played it prior to bring it in, but one guy said the controls were similar to Halo, minus the A(ction) button. One of the new girls is a Halo freak and was one of the top contenders to play against.

I added a bunch of you lastnight, and tried out multiplayer, thats pretty hard. when you pull into aim the reticle moves soooo slow.

your wasting your money with the ELITE. The DVD HD drive is only worth $100. I believe the information is on www.afterdawn.com. Someone took it apart to see the different components, and the hd dvd drive is from a toshiba notebook.

it's essentially the same as the current xbox with an HDMI output and the 120 GB drive... $79 bucks over the price of the premium xbox (w/ 20 GB HD) for HDMI and 100 extra GB isn't a bad deal... plus he gets a cool black case...

Exactly, I'm buying it for the HDMI port and the 120 GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) just the 120GB HDD will sell for $180 If I'm not mistaken.

no HD-DVD player on the elite. its basically the PRO system only w/ a 120gb hd, hdmi cables, hdmi output, and black system. that's all

if they added a hd-dvd to it, it would come up to more than a ps3 and they didnt want to reach that price point considering 600+ is alot of money for a system, that you might not have that many hd movies to use it for, unless you download them off marketplace, but then you dont even need to have a hd-dvd to play it, just the memory.......just my .02cents

did you guys see the E3 demo they did for the PC version??...new levels, maps, multi modes, and even a fight with the Brumak! (i feel kinda jipped cause they should've had that on the 360 version)...but it'll be cool to see the cross-platform multi-player feature
