same here, i just wished it was a couple more hours long. as far as live goes im worried if i get live i'll be on there all the time and start slacking when it comes to my school work, i really want to keep a 3.0 or above

i hate the party system in GoW, but the game is great.
i got most of the achievements (im at 830 pts)
and im up for some Xbox live gaming.

your wasting your money with the ELITE. The DVD HD drive is only worth $100. I believe the information is on www.afterdawn.com. Someone took it apart to see the different components, and the hd dvd drive is from a toshiba notebook.

i don't think the elite has HD DVD... does it?...

it's essentially the same as the current xbox with an HDMI output and the 120 GB drive... $79 bucks over the price of the premium xbox (w/ 20 GB HD) for HDMI and 100 extra GB isn't a bad deal... plus he gets a cool black case...

no HD-DVD player on the elite. its basically the PRO system only w/ a 120gb hd, hdmi cables, hdmi output, and black system. that's all

if they added a hd-dvd to it, it would come up to more than a ps3 and they didnt want to reach that price point considering 600+ is alot of money for a system, that you might not have that many hd movies to use it for, unless you download them off marketplace, but then you dont even need to have a hd-dvd to play it, just the memory.......just my .02cents

did you guys see the E3 demo they did for the PC version??...new levels, maps, multi modes, and even a fight with the Brumak! (i feel kinda jipped cause they should've had that on the 360 version)...but it'll be cool to see the cross-platform multi-player feature
