Default what kind of damage could happen to my engine?

the quick queestion is my car got rev to 6k rpm n it has less than 60miles on it at that time.. any damage was done on my engine?

sorry for the long writing but i m new,,,i got my 2007 tc super white 2weeks ago, my 3rd manuel car and first new car, n i garage it n treat it nicely..... which right now has 80miles on it... max rpm 3000 on going up hill couple times.. i don't know much about taking care new cars i just follow the manuel.. on break in period.. whatever...
here the story, i let my my friend drove it, i m really angry at it right now n hope he crash his car soon for not respecting me n my car, i let him drive it n he rev it to almost 6000rpm... i told him not rev my car when he started driving it which he already did rev it to 4000 cuz it's a new car with less than 100miles on it, but the he rev it 2times after to 5000 and almost 6000which makes me hella mad at it, n his making comments on new car should take care the clutch.. n saying all the stuff about the clutch n acts he knows a lot about it... i was like.. what about my engine b**ch.. i feel like... i should never let any 1 drive my car again, even i m in the car or not, people just don't respect u n specially when u don't see, u don't know what kind stuff they try to do on my car, maybe drift on a front wheel drive car like people did on youtube... again.. i wish he crash his car soon..

Nothing will happen to it. Its fine. There are many opinions on break-in, but none of them are gospel. Personally, I feel like you should drive the car normally during break-in.

First off: DO NOT LET JUST ANYONE DRIVE YOUR tC!! Since they didn't spend their hard-earned $cratch, they won't care if they damage it. Especially if they drive a POS beater.

About the rev: As long as it wasn't revved for a long period of time, you should be alright. When I first drove my car off the lot, I thought my tC was not working right. Turns out that I was driving in "3" and not "D".

So stop worrying and go put some miles on that new tC!!

Your engine should be fine.
Your friend, on the other hand, cannot be trusted.

drive his car and grind his gears while power shifting and always bounce it off the rev-limiter

...an eye for an eye huh?

I wouldn't be too concerned about the high revs. Once or twice shouldn't be a problem. Just don't let your friend drive it again.

I like your style

Also, ask your friend if he can teach you basic grammar and puncuation, because it took me too long to read your post. (Sorry, I'm hungover)

youll deffinetly be fine. People turbo their cars with the amount of miles you have. A break in is important. But a few times going close to redline wont ruin it forever.

that's what'd i do too..

anyway... there are different theories of breaking in a car.... one of them is driving it hard.

it's much more important that you don't ever use cruise and that you don't stay at a certain rpm for a long time. vary it.

i went the "drive it like yyou stole it" method of breaking in.

your car will be fine.. however... your friend..... deserves to get beat.

YOUR GONNA DIE.
na, but my first week i was trying to merge, and red lined...i felt like ish. But I then continued the break in, I am a fan of the less than 4000 RPM break in period.
