Default Pioneer Tv help

I have a pioneer tv. I grounded the tv so I can watch while i am driving but When I put in a dvd the screen ends up getting lines that run through the screen. Can anyone help me with this? Do i have a bad ground?

I have a flip out pioneer avh 6000cd. It is a screen where you can hook up an external dvd player or game console. I tried another dvd and it does the same thing

hmm.. if you're talking about that ground for the bypass... then having it work is good enough... if there's a bad ground elsewhere, then it should affect more than just the dvd playing capabilities...

are you using the external player? wires good going to and from?
