Default Got a spare film SLR?

My Nikon (and the lens attached to it) met an untimely end last night after being dropped by my mother during the unloading of leftovers from the car.

Me being a photography student with a final project due in a week (and only 5 lab days remaining), I can safely say that I'm screwed. I still have 5 rolls left to shoot, develop, and print. As I'm switching to a digital SLR in January, I don't really feel the need to shell out $400 for another film SLR.

I've just been informed that we have some photographers on this forum. I don't suppose any of you have a spare film SLR you can lend out for a week? I'll do your taxes and feed your goldfish for a week...or something

If you were closer to Portland, I'd lend you my Nikon SLR. Haven't touched it since going digitial.

Film? What's that

If I knew where my Canon AE1 was at, I would loan it out to you, but it's probably gone and buried in my storage unit.

Get the Nikon D80. I test drove one yesterday and was very very impressed by it's performance that I am sure it will be my next digital camera.

Boy and this is coming from a hard core Canon guy too....
