Default Marketing project help

I am doing my marketing project on Scion and need to set up an market positioning analysis graph for my project coming up at the end of the semester. I would really appreciate if you could participate in the poll and possibly explain your choices if you have time. Edit: I am looking for your top two choices. Thanks, Andrew

Since my vote only allowed one choice, I thought that I might add a few points that may help your project.

Price: Yes, was a major factor. There are a lot of items that are option only on other cars and just happen to come standard on the tC. Especially the ones that I was interested in.

Quality: Toyota, nuff said.

Service: Not sure whether you are referring to how the car performs or the service which I receive when I take it in for SERVICE. Perfomance wise ( with my mods so far ) is great . Servicing wise fortunately, has also been great. I've got one service guy that I try to deal with and that helps me feel as though he is more personally in tune with me and my car.

Safety: To tell you the truth ( aside from the ABS, and airbags ), I didn't even realize that the tC did quite well in it's crash test ratings until long after I had purchased it.

Hope these added points aren't too much. Let me know if you've got anymore ?'s. I'd be happy to help ya out.

i got it for features and price. I needed something that would be good on insurance (the only reason i got my tC is because i rolled + totalled my srt-4) and it wasnt a complete econo box.

the tC just fit that bill perfectly.

It's really a combination of all the factors that caused me to buy it. To sum it up, it does everything the competition does...but it does it better, and it does it for less money.

Price, of course, is the main limiting factor. But price is going to be a constant constraint upon the entire class of cars. So within the class, price really doesn't matter.

The quality is impeccable. Not simply in the security of knowing the car will perform for years to come, but also the quality of the interior. The ergonomics are a huge selling point. Ever sit in a Cobalt?

I'm also confused on the service part...

Safety? I tend to operate on the assumption that all modern cars within the same class should be equally safe, but it is really nice having the side and curtain airbags.

In a sentence, I'd have to say I bought this car because it's the best in its class, hands down. Oh, and the apparent quality matters a lot. One of the main flaws I see with the xB is the rear drum brakes. Drums have no place on a modern car. Disc brakes don't just represent safety, they represent sound engineering.

Price was a major point. Know that it was a Toyota was a large selling point as well.

Being a brand new company (from Toyota) was probably #1 though.

Price for sure, I mean with all the things it comes with standard you can't beat it for the price. Sure it may not be the fastest car, but does any other 18k car have the balance of options and performance the tC does? Not that I could find along with its sporty exterior.

Saftey, well lets just say, I crashed in the canyons going atleast 70 and hit a tree, walked out perfectly fine. Now that experience has made me appreciate the saftey of a vehicle, as my new tC has side airbags
