I just recently pulled out the cubby light b/c of the brightness. And my climate control lights went on a frittz. They went out completely after about an hour and I've tried everything, even putting the cubby light back in, Unplugging the harness, everything is working (A/C, clock, etc.) but when the turn the headlights on the console won't light up. Does anyone have any ideas or experienced this problem? I really don't won't to pay toyota to look at this. P.s. I'm new so go easy on me, I tried to search this and can't find any posts.

Might want to ask if any of them have got the problem fixed. No one has found the solution but you are all describing the same problems. I'm not sure what to do other than take it to the dealer at this point; but maybe someone figured it out.

 

I've contacted the dealer and try to get to the bottom of this problem, I'll post the solution if I find one. Sorry to have clouded up the boards with this, and will do a better job searching next time. My frustration on this light problem only allowed me to see RED!

 

I havent done any modding to my car at all and my climate system lights just went out the other day. My car only has 4k miles on it, so im taking it in tomarrow to get it checked out. I've seen it's been a problem with people who have modded their consoles but maybe its really just a wiring issue with scion. I'll let you know what they say tomarrow.
